Develop a customer-centric digital website solution for a structural walling manufacturer that’s easy-to-navigate with a library of information that’s simple to find. Being an innovative engineering business that manufactures it’s own product to a multi-segmented market comes with vast amounts of documentation, tools and resources that need to be stored, updated and downloaded quickly.
With building regulations and requirements changing rapidly for this manufacturer, the importance for the customer to have access to up-to-date information accross all digital devices was paramount.
It had to be simple.
To fully understand the user journey requirements, we started by profiling a customer that needed to understand who Dincel was, the products on offer and how it could benefit their project.
From there we were able to establish a better framework for existing customers and give them greater accessibility to the resources that were previously hidden in layers of pages. We then tested that usability with both new and existing customers to refine the user experience.
From the moment the new site was live, the analytics told the story. Traffic from new and existing users had increased, but more importantly returning users had increased by over 55%. Users were spending more time on the site, particularly from mobile devices where downloads were increasing.
This highlighted the importance of understanding how Dincel’s audience viewed their information. Following the launch of the new site, a social media content strategy was developed to support their Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram pages which are proving highly successful to their overall marketing strategy.
