MTA NSW required a modern, easy-to-use and responsive website to continually act as a prominent advocate and voice for the motor industry. Being a 100 year old business with diverse demographics, one of the challenges was to appeal to a younger member audience whilst acknowledging current members that have had a loyal relationship with the organisation.
After IMA’s initial brand development work was done, a new platform was developed to provide a full e-commerce site with a customised shop, member only area, payment gateway and online invoicing. With such a large website, providing detail on so many different offerings and products, it was important to present this clearly and easily for users. Our key success drivers for the new site were simplicity of navigation, member portal security, ease of obtaining consumer advice along with attracting new members.
With over 3000 new site visits within the first month from launching, and over 1500 returning users, the results have exceeded the expectations from MTA for their members and partners.
